This is a guide to provide migration instructions to relink a Microsoft 365 tenant to eSilo's backup service. This process only needs to be completed if directed by eSilo's support team. If you have any questions, please email us at
support@esilo.com for assistance.
Access the eSilo Cyber Protect Console
Log in to the web console at
console.esilo.com if you are unsure of your log in credentials, check your email for an account activation email or email us at
support@esilo.com for assistance.
Once logged in choose "Cyber Protection"
Reconnect Your Microsoft 365 Account
The below steps should be performed using a Global Administrator account within your Microsoft 365 tenant. Attempting to follow these instructions with an account that does not have Global Administrator privileges may return an error and prompt you to switch accounts. To find which accounts have Global Administrator privileges check the Active users page:
https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=834822 then select a user, check for "Global Administrator" under "Roles" on the right side panel.
These instructions authorize the backup service to access your Microsoft 365 data and eSilo does not store your Microsoft account credentials, the login page is on Microsoft's website and your Microsoft account is used only to authorize the connection, no credentials are stored or sent to our service.
On the Cyber Protection dashboard, click "Devices" on the left sidebar
Then click "Microsoft 365" on the left side menu
Then locate this message near the top of the screen and click "Review and approve permissions"
If you do not see the message and the "Review and approve permissions" button, then this has already been completed and no action is needed.
This will open a popup to log in to your Microsoft account or select an existing account if you are already signed in.
Once you sign in, follow the prompts to link your Microsoft 365 tenant, you'll need to approve access to your account by clicking "Accept" on Microsoft's website
Once you have been redirected back to the eSilo Cyber Protect Console, you are done with the migration.
